Kemiya is dreaming of furnishing her new apartment. After ten years in the foster care system, she is personally acquainted with the intense challenges of living outside of a secure and healthy home. She is resolved to pursue a better life for herself and her new baby. 

Through hard work and perseverance, Kemiya was able to secure a new apartment. She is also working towards the completion of her GED, so that she can apply to nursing school and pursue her career goal of becoming an RN. Having a furnished apartment will create a sense of home and provide Kemiya with the stability she needs to continue to build the life she dreams of. 

Kemiya is moving forward from her painful past and creating a better future for she and her child. The home she builds will advance her dreams and help her achieve her goals!
